If you live in South Medford, Glenwood, Wellington, or Hillside (south of Salem St or the Mystic River) click the button below to further determine eligibility for the program and request a free tree.
If you live in other parts of the city, you can buy a bare root tree at cost by clicking the button below. Why should I get a tree from TreesMedford?
We have done the research for you. TreesMedford carefully selects a range of native trees and tree varieties that are adapted for conditions in Medford so that you can choose a tree that will thrive in your yard. Most mail order stores have many trees that are not adapted for this area, so you must know something about tree varieties to choose the right tree.
Mail order bare-root trees may be cheaper, but they are a lot smaller (2’-3’) than the trees from TreesMedford (7’-10’). It will take 3-5 years before the mail order trees are as big as the trees you get from TreesMedford.
We make it easy to order and simple to pick up. If you have questions, we can help you decide.
